Named after the French writer famed for capturing the complexity of female existence in prose, comes a dress that celebrates femininity in every stitch and swish. This midi dress is made from a finely woven stripe chambray.

The high neck, glorious volume and full length front button placket create a fluid, elongated silhouette that is softened and enhanced by a wealth of unapologetically feminine details - a garland of hand stitched trellis zigzags around the neckline,  contrast cross-stitched buttons, soft frills around the jawline and an optional sash tie at the waist.

And because we know ladies of substance always have more beneath the surface, the Colette dress is finished with pockets, no doubt replete with all the weapons of our feminine arsenal be they pens, poetry, pocketbooks or phones. Please note after feedback from customers, the dress length is slightly shorter and the ML is more generous across the shoulder.
