Izamna handwoven striped napkins (set of 2)
£89These napkins have been created in the framework of collaboration with the United Nations Development Project, Mexico. A project through a series of workshops and training programmes has helped build sustainable business models for women living in rural indigenous communities.
The perfect marrying of modern colourful stripes with the traditional mayan motif of the diamond which represents the universe. These napkins were Hand-loomed on the ancient backstrap loom making them strong, durable and long lasting. Like all traditional mayan textiles, these napkins are designed to be cherished for years to come.
Origin: Handwoven in Larráinzar, Mexico.
Craft: 20 hours to weave.

Material: 100% Cotton (OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified).
Care: Machine wash cold and gentle and hang dry.
