Finance & Operations Manager - 12-Month Maternity Cover

We’re looking for an experienced Finance & Operations Manager to join Collagerie on a 12-month maternity cover contract. Reporting closely to the CEO, you’ll take full ownership of the company’s finance and operational functions, ensuring the business runs efficiently day to day while identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems, and ways of working.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can deliver a highly professional, streamlined finance and operations function across the business.

The Role:

Finance:

  • Preparation of the Management Accounts
  • Manage the Accounts Receivable, Payables and bank reconciliations
  • Work with both the Brand and Sales Teams
  • Ability to get stuck into the details to find any inconsistencies
  • Improve current processes and look for ways it could be more efficient & automated
  • Management of the balance sheet and cashflows
  • Payroll & reconciliations

Operations:

  • Provide daily oversight of the workflows and operations of the company, ensuring that issues are being resolved and deadlines are being met
  • Implement new processes and standards, as needed
  • Manage all contracts, consultants and administrative personnel function including HR, Legal and Operations
  • Liaise cross-functionality to set and track KPIs and ensure all administrative needs are being met
  • Ensure compliance with local and international laws, working with external counsel
  • Build trusted relations with key partners and stakeholders

The candidate will hold experience in a similar role and will be able to help identify opportunities for process improvement.

Requirements:

  • Ideally qualified or ACCA / CIMA / ACA finalist
  • At least 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communications skills, both orally and written
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good initiative and willing to take ownership and responsibility of tasks
  • Eager to learn and look to improve / change processes
  • Excellent team player
  • Experience using Xero ideal, but not essential
  • Is passionate about people and culture, and is willing to work hard with the team
