Account Director - Partnerships & Sales

This is an exciting opportunity to join the founding team of a rapidly growing online platform based in London, co-founded by former Vogue editors Lucinda Chambers and Serena Hood. The Role:
We are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Account Director to drive revenue growth and manage high-value brand relationships. This role is responsible for developing long-term client partnerships, executing strategic sales initiatives, and ensuring the seamless delivery of integrated campaigns across digital, content, and social media platforms. You will be a key player in shaping the company’s commercial strategy and elevating brand partnerships to new heights.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Growth & Business Development
• Develop and implement a results-driven account strategy to exceed B2B revenue goals set by the CEO.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities that include non-endemic brands, expanding our portfolio of brand partners, sponsorships, and innovative revenue streams.
• Lead high-value negotiations and close large-scale deals with brands, agencies, and retail partners.
• Build a framework for sustainable, long-term client investment, maximizing renewals and upselling opportunities.
Client & Brand Partnership Management
• Act as a trusted strategic partner to senior executives across the fashion, beauty, lifestyle and retail industries.
• Own the client lifecycle—from onboarding to execution—ensuring high-impact, measurable results.
• Oversee the development of compelling proposals, media kits, and partnership concepts that align with client objectives.
• Collaborate across editorial, marketing, and creative teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and brand integration.
• Deliver data-driven insights and performance reporting, demonstrating ROI to strengthen client relationships and drive renewals.
Cross-Team Collaboration
• Fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and revenue growth.
• Work closely with content, social, and marketing teams to align brand activations with editorial direction and audience engagement strategies.
• Ensure all client contracts, agreements, and deliverables align with business objectives and brand standards.
Key Skills & Experience
• 7+ years of experience in account management, client services, brand partnerships, or business development, ideally within media, fashion, beauty, or lifestyle industries.
• Proven ability to manage and grow high-value client accounts, driving up to six figure partnerships.
• Strong industry network within fashion, beauty, lifestyle and retail sectors.
• Expertise in digital media, branded content, influencer marketing, and affiliate partnerships.
• Exceptional negotiation skills with a strong commercial mindset and experience in contract management.
• Deep understanding of social media trends (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest) and how they impact brand partnerships.
• Experience working closely with founders, CEOs, and senior leadership teams.
