Crafted exclusively for Collagerie, this unique Horezu serving plate features a ripple edge and intricate hand painted detailing. 

Size: 21cm diameter x 4.6cm height.  

Casa De Folklore's artisans from Vâlcea county Romania, honour Horezu pottery and have practiced the craft since childhood. Each piece is lovingly handmade in their home atelier using techniques that have been passed down through generations. The colours used are natural, made from local minerals and clays, then applied to the ceramics with cow horns and finetuned with wooden sticks. The technique is called „jirăvirea“. Each piece is shaped on a simple kick wheel and decorated with a traditional motif. 

As with all handmade crafts, no two pieces are the same, and, as a result, minor differences may exist from piece-to-piece. Each pattern is unique and showcases imperfections and the marks of the craftsman.
