“I was immediately drawn to the yellow vase. It pops so beautifully against a neutral backdrop and looks good even with simple foliage picked from the garden. It’s incredibly difficult to find lovely picture frames and this one is just so uplifting – I’d set it by my bed with a photo of my children. The candlestick has a beautiful tactile feel and a lovely glaze, with the prettiest bright blue tip. I’d dot a couple down the dining table, complete with brightly coloured candles, for cosy home suppers.”

“I love objects that make me smile, and a ‘banana’ bowl in my banana-coloured pantry will put a smile on my face for years to come. The desk is an obvious choice for my new study – it’s neat and compact, fitting perfectly into my tiny London house, but with enough charm to stop it fading into the background. It’s functional whilst also being decorative, something we should all aspire to! If a piece grabs my eye – like this gorgeous vase and little pot – I’ll always find room. After all, a new vase is an excuse for more flowers, and nothing makes a home happier than heaps and heaps of flowers.”

“I’ve chosen pieces that are as useful as they are lovely. For example, you can never have enough little trays for your bits and bobs – I’d have one in every room! The vase is beautiful whether empty or full, while the tumbler would make a great toothbrush pot or a bedside water glass. I’m always searching for little lamps, so the one on my wishlist is ideal – and its pink wire makes a pretty change. Finally I’ve picked a charming stool which could also be used as a side table. I live in a small flat, so compact, versatile pieces like this work beautifully.”
