Huishan Zhang
While studying at Central Saint Martins, Huishan Zhang was handpicked by Delphine Arnault to spend his third year working in Christian Dior’s leather goods and haute couture ateliers. The Chinese-born, London-based designer launched his eponymous label in 2012, mapping out his design DNA, inspiration and direction through his national identity: this ‘Eastern heritage meets Western influences’ philosophy plays out in romantic, sophisticated pieces that embrace ageless femininity, strong silhouettes and directional details.
